My friend (and fellow Jenny Craig spokesperson) Sara Rue joined in on the Big Brother fun with Ryan and I during this week's BB Breakdown. Why? 'Cuz we ALL love Big Brother, that's why. :)

ReplyDeleteRoss, do you not remember Jeff and Jordan's season? Jeff said lots of 'homophobic' comments. He was completely rude about it.
ReplyDeleteI <3 you guys!!! Love the BB talk...and I agree with you and Sara. I really don't think Jeff understands...he is kinda clueless that way. Former midwest girl here in Milwaukee and most of us are not closed minded, very open minded up there specially our generation. Jeff and Jordan are just so damn cute...I wanna squeeze them to pieces!!! =) Happy Friday Ross, Ryan & Sara!!!

ReplyDeleteRoss it makes me very sad that you would even think about defending Jeff. Ryan was completely right that Jeff would make fun of you behind your back. And then you guys say you're rooting for Rachel?? I wish I had such a short term memory. Because if I did I wouldn't remember her anti-gay rants from last year either. There have to be consequences for making these comments. Otherwise why would they stop? As gay men, why do we tolerate this? And how can we be surprised that teens are killing themselves at record levels when people they look up to as heroes, like you, defend people like Jeff? Yes, Jeff is physically attractive, but he is truly a vile person. Ross, I'm a big fan, but we will never be equal if we don't believe we deserve to be.

ReplyDeleteWell Friday is here and so is the last "Harry Potter" movie. We are taking Cody to see it tomorrow after noon. Got our tickets online since I have a feeling it will be sold out. Can't wait to see it. This morning was so sweet...Cody has been saving some money from his Nana to buy NCAA '12. He was $20 short, but he has been patiently waiting. So today Scot and I got up early and went and bought NCAA '12 for Cody this morning. I set it out with his breakfast and he was so shocked. He started to eat and looked down , then screamed "NCAA '12". He was too cute!!
Karen ~~~ WOOT WOOT one of Chef's garter belts!! It will go great with my boa!!! That just made my night!! How's the bay girl? I found us 1960s portable radio, my Mom got it for me...it still works!! We can carry it down to the beach and listen to the tunes!! Twisting away with my garter belt and boa!! Love ya brah!!

Ross ~~~ Even though I don't watch BB I still love the Breakdown talkies!! It was great to see Sara Rue on there with you and Ryan today. She is so sweet and I LOVED her hate!! I hate to hear that some of the people are anti~gay...maybe they will learn to make a change. Please you and Sal have safe travels this weekend and enjoy every second of it!! Love y'all!!!

I have shared about my brother Tom. Yesterday we found out some wonderful news. When Dr. Mosuto placed the 5 stents because of his arteries were closed, we thought it was the bypass arteries that were just placed had failed. Tom had to have the bypass surgery immediately or he would of died. Once he mended so quickly that is when the heart team said, let's go in and repair the old arteries with stents. Listen up....I love Dr. Mosuto!! Tom's blood flow was only 20 ejection fraction which means each time his heart pumped it was only at 20%. Not a good figure to have to supply your body the blood it needs. Dr. Mosuto did not like those figures so he went in and repaired the clogged arteries that Tom had with stents 3 weeks ago because his LUNGS were so good and his fitness was excellent (no body fat). Yesterday, the route of attack was going through one of the bypass arteries to the back side of his heart and fixing the artery that was clogged with stents. Dr. Mosuto was able to open that artery so Tom is getting a much better flow of blood pumping in and out of his heart. There was damage to the heart muscle (it's ability to pump hard) but with medication and a better flow of blood........IT IS LOOKING VERY GOOD FOR TOM!!!! He has a total of 7 stents.
THANK YOU EVERYONE THAT SAID A PRAYER OR HAD A SPECIAL THOUGHT FOR HIM.
Now he is talking about retiring and moving back to Syracuse once he turns 65 (December). His two sons and grandchildren are here.
It just amazes me how far advance we have come in the medical world concerning heart problems. I lost my dad when he was 63 years old (26 years ago) because of the same problem Tom has. I have a happy heart this morning!!!

ReplyDeleteI can not get into Big Brother this year. The ones they selected are too plastic. They look too perfect. I love Lydia last year and I follow many on twitter still. Jeff & Jordon are adorable but we all saw Jordon undressed on the live feed and saw a few penis shots as well from a certain very well endowed man lol. I do not believe a TV show needs to take things to the extreme. Look at how they had the whacko on last year that went bonkers. I do not believe Jeff came across as homophobic because of the cute exchange he had with you one on one when you did the interview with him. So I do not agree with Sara but again, I did not watch this segment you are talking about. I guess I am too old for Big Brother. I rather watch Donald Trump with his perfect hair!!! lol

My thoughts are that because Jeff is misinformed, not just the Gay community but we all need to show love and grace towards people like Jeff. Attacking or deciding to "Boycott" Jeff on BB is not going to change his view or educate Jeff into knowing the truth about Homosexuals. Blessings to you all.

That is the part I did not like about Big Brother, I felt they were "play acting" the part in the Big Brother House, child like behavior many times. It seemed scripted many times to me. Just not my cup of tea but give me a little bit of True Blood and I am in lala land. lol Vampires, Wolves, Shifters and Fairies...what more could you ask for. lol

ReplyDeleteThinking gays are child molesters is not being "misinformed". Can't believe you even said that. Do you understand that comments like Jeff made are causing teens to kill themselves? Plus, he is a repeat offender. So no, I will not be showing him love and grace. I'll be too busy helping gay street kids whose parents kicked them out of their homes find shelter.
What if Jeff had said white parents shouldn't leave their kids around black men? Would that have been alright? What would you have done? I can tell you CBS would have been much more proactive than they've been with Jeff's hatred. It's called a double standard.
And to those of you who point out Jeff seemed fine being interviewed by Ross - what did you expect him to do? Punch him? Spit on him? Insult him to his face? Obviously not.
Homophobia comes in many forms. None of which should be tolerated.

ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE the BB Breakdown. I was disappointed too in Jeff's comments but he did apologize to Kalia later for saying it. There is still along way to go but I will chalk this up to ignorance and hope he learned from Kalia who was very vocal in her outrage at his comments.If anyone has the live feeds go to July 12 6:46pm Camera 3 and you can hear what Jeff said.

XOMANDYKINSOX I did not remember that he said stuff like that in the other season, but there was so much crazy stuff that year I’m not surprised that I missed it. Love that Sara was on the show she is great and I love all of you. Thanks for adding to the fun of BB13.
