Ross radio show: I listen to the show two times. I think The sex talk was ok the dude ask Ross that I thought it was An talk that was interest. I thought it was ok. I think it ok I am wait to see what next week bring us. I though it was A good program I laugh at it.
I do not believe anyone has the right to say another person is doing something wrong. Concerning Ross Radio Show, I listened, parts were funny and parts were completely out of character in how people have viewed Ross. Many blog buddies have followed Ross for many years and are use to the way he speaks humorously. I personally feel that Ross is very talented and does not need to go down that slippery slop of foul conversations, (the bottle and the lube was a little much). I think it goes back to the bottle and lube Garv. Rather graphic, Ross set the pace immediately, grab my attention and then went on to have a great Radio Show. Great conversations and laughter. Goodness!! I guess some people are more easily offended than I am and have probably never listened to Howard Stern (of whom Ross is a huge fan!). Yes the radio show was crass and didn't hold anything back - but it really didn't offend me. Much of it mde me laugh, often aloud - sorry. And while I'm quite sure I'm not the "target audience" for the Josh & Ross show (40-something year old woman), I enjoyed it. Ross has always made a point of not being mean or cruel to others in his comedy (even on Chelsea Lately where that is common place!) and I think he still succeeds in that pledge on the radio show even if the conversation was a bit R+++ rated. I think it will be interesting to continue listening to the show and seeing where it goes and where the conversation goes as well.

Gosh...I thought the show was LOL major LOL! I guess since I know him on a more personal level, the show was typical Ross Mathews. I actually felt like this was his calling and not the boring vanilla leno crap that some of you have grown to love. I would do anything for a few bucks too!! Goodness!! I guess some people are more easily offended than I am and have probably never listened to Howard Stern (of whom Ross is a huge fan!). Yes the radio show was crass and didn't hold anything back - but it really didn't offend me. Much of it mde me laugh, often aloud - sorry. And while I'm quite sure I'm not the "target audience" for the Josh & Ross show (40-something year old woman), I enjoyed it. Ross has always made a point of not being mean or cruel to others in his comedy (even on Chelsea Lately where that is common place!) and I think he still succeeds in that pledge on the radio show even if the conversation was a bit R+++ rated. I think it will be interesting to continue listening to the show and seeing where it goes and where the conversation goes as well.

I actually felt like this was his calling and not the boring vanilla leno crap that some of you have grown to love. I would do anything for a few bucks too!! I mean come on guys and gals, live a little and don't be such prudes. Best thing is, if you don't like it you don't have to listen.

But, to hear my fellow gays act like they have never heard or laugh at this type of humor must not like the greats like Kathy Griffin...Joan Rivers or Lisa Lampanelli! ReplyDeleteBuddy above^^^^ We are not seniors and we are not old gueens! We are in our late 30's to mid 40's. I am a Dr., partner is a Lawyer, both od us practice in LA. So it isn't about age at all, it is about the content of what was said. Bottom line, I feel sorry for the guy that he has to go so LOW for a buck. There you have it. Not everyone who has a second home in PS is a senior. We bought our estate five years ago, thank you very much!

The median age was 51.6 years in 2010 in Palm Springs. So to estate living I'm in my late 30's to mid 40's (that's a 10 year gap so are you 30 or 40??)52 years old is over the hill heading towards retirement!

Our estate is used for entertaining and for our two adopted children from China. We are proud of who we are, we are happy for Ross and trying so hard, he simply, in our opinions, took it to far. just saw a segment on Dr. Phill about an 18 yr old girl...who was hekd captive in a closet, sexually and physically abused by her parents, from age of 2-8...made to eat her own excrement...sad...can't imagine doing this to another human being, let alone your own child...my heart goes out to this young innocent (NOT SO INNOCENT ANYMORE) child.

ReplyDeleteI really don't know why I'm so surprised by some of the negativity on here, though. It seems today everyone has this odd sense of entitlement to have their nasty and hateful statements heard. It's like NOT saying anything at all would kill you.
The great thing about Ross, though, is that he knows he is going to hear this stuff and he even goes out of his way to maintain a site for us to do so.
Personally, I loved the Josh & Ross show. It was nice to see another side of Ross' unique and funny personality, and Josh is hilarious as always. I look forward to the next episode.
Congrats on the vacation home, Ross and Sal! I can't wait to see more pics.
